You know how much I love lists! The last lists I shared with you were ’80+ Summer activities for kids’ and ‘My Top Picks for Summer Days Out’. However, it is time to say goodbye to our Summer days and embrace the Autumn Vibes!

Today’s post is a list of 10 PYO Pumpkins Patches in and around Essex for a Great Family Day Out.

PATCHES TO VISIT:

🎃 Cammas Hall

Open from 1st to 31th of October from 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Admission for PYO: £2/£3/£4 per person + £0.25 booking fee

Pumpkin season and Halloween activities at Cammas Hall Farm will run all October! PYO will offer 20 different varieries of pumpkin and winter squash and the farm shop will also be packed with carving accesories and Halloween goodies.

Cammas Hall is going big on their decoration giving customers plenty of opportunity for a fabulous photo opportunity in their biggest ever ready picked pumpkin patch. We’re Instagram ready! They also have a lovely outdoor play area for your kids to run wild!

They’ll be lighting the BBQ and pizza oven at weekends and during half term and serving their Tea Barn menu at other times!

Make sure you bring spare clothes for the little ones and wear wellies! It can get very wet and muddy.

Cammas Hall also has a Maize Maze, with two new Halloween-themed games to play in the mini-maize and main maize: Ghost Hunt & Tooth Scary. Cost: £3.50 per person for both mazes.

🎃 Foxes Farm Produce in Basildon

From Sep 25 to Oct 27 you’ll have the chance to book your slot from 9:00am – 4:00pm to PYO pumpkin. You are in for a real pumpkin farm experience. Their fields are vast and full of great quality pumpkins! You’ll find a food truck, toilets and carving tools on sale!

Admission: £6 per family ticket (covers 4 people)

🎃 Hatter’s Farm

They are a great family run pumpkin patch near Stanstead. They grow over 28 varieties of pumpkins and squash in all shapes and sizes which you can choose directly in the field. They also have a Pumpkin Cannon, Maize Maze, Nature Trails and hot food and drinks.

Booking is not essential but recommended because they have a limited capacity. Tickets cost £4 PER CAR and will be deducted when you pay for your pumpkins.

🎃 Pumpkin Fest at Lathcoats Farm

Opening times: 9:00am – 3:30pm from Oct 18 – 31. Closed on Sundays.
Admission: £0.50 per person to enter the pumpkin patch.

Carve your own pumpkin which includes a small or medium pumpkin (extra charge)

You can also take part in our Halloween Hunt activity (extra charge) which includes an activity sheet, pencil and chocolate treat (DF option available).

Lathcoats has a lovely farm shop where you can buy local produce, they have a small area with some farm animal and a natural play area.

🎃 Pumpkin Forest

PYO will take place every weekend in October, plus from 17th to 31st October daily 9am to 5pm!

🎃 Pumpkin Picking Village, Marsh Farm

Admission: £3 per person. Under 2s go free.

From 6 to 31 of October from 11:00am – 5:00pm. with dog friendly dates on the 9th and 15th of October. You are in for a treat! You won’t only find lots of pumpkins, but great seasonal decorations so lots of photo opportunities await. The place is beautifully decorated so you’ll have lots of photo opportunity, there will be funfair rides, a food truck and an ice-cream shop.

Their Halloween shop is open! They have some gorgeous decorations in store.

Marsh Farm have gone Night Pumpkin Picking Mad! Their spooky Night Pumpkin Picking Experience will include fun fair rides, pumpkin picking and spooky food & drinks.

🎃 Tullys Farm

Love it that Tullys Farm has a day and night time PYO too!
You can visit their lovely farm from 18 Sep to 31 Oct. Mainly at the weekends.

🎃 Stanhill Farm

October Half Term, open from 9:00am to 5:00pm from Tuesday to Saturday. Sundays from 10:00am to 3:30pm.

🎃 Crockford Bridge Farm

Their Pumpkin Patch will be open in October from 10:00 am to 5:30pm. Closes at 6:00pm on Saturdays and at 4:30pm on Sundays.
Admission: Adults over 16, £4.

🎃 Sharnfold Farm

Open from 9:30am to 5:00pm every day.
Admission: £5 per family (covers 4 people)
£1.50 per person.
Under 3s go free.
There are animals to see and the play area is fully open. And there is a farm trail too.
